It's A Ruff Life

It's a Ruff Life is a locally owned business in Boise Idaho created to help people in the community take care of their pets. Of the many challenges there are with pets, we have provided a list of services to help. Our goal is to always make sure your pets are safe and healthy no matter how we are helping!

Meet and Greet This fee is a one time, non-refunable fee. A meet and greet is important to all parties.It allows for the owner and petsitter to introduce themselves. It also gives the pets an opportunity to visit with the petsitter that will be caring for them. At this meet we will discuss if a key, lock code, or garage code will be used. Walk through the pets daily schedule and located what will be needed for care (leashes, collars, kennels, water, food, etc.) We will go through the steps of signing up with the Time to Pet scheduling app and portal as well as discuss any questions necessary! If you prefer your petsitter stop by prior to vacation due for a follow up with routine or for new instruction, a $25 fee is charged.

Cancellations Scheduled services may be cancelled without a charge (excluding petsitting and wedding pet services). If not cancelled, service will be charged full price. Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling as the time scheduled can benefit someone else's pet. Scheduled petsitting services and wedding pet services must be cancelled 1 week in advanced. If not cancelled 1 week prior to scheduled service, $25 per day cancellation fee is charged.

Key/Lock Please provide two keys or two forms of getting into the house to access the pet(s) as is preferred. A key, garage code, front door lock code, etc. Understand if only one key or one form of lock is provided to us, we may contact you if we have issues with the codes or keys.

Scheduling All scheduling must be done through Time to Pet app or by contacting by phone at 208.781.0007 or email itsarufflife@hotmail.com

Communication We ask that you sent a courtesy text through the Time to Pet app letting your petsitter know you have left when leaving on vacation as well as send a return message that you have made it home safely. This allows for your pet(s) to get the best care in case of an emergency.

Reminder! We need a heads up... 
Will there be any other small pets that need cared for? Fish, exotic animals, birds, etc? Please leave written instructions on how to care for them or a write up through the Time to Pet app.

Do you have anyone else visiting your pet(s) while you are gone or in need of petcare? House cleaner, grandparents, neighbors, etc. We ask you keep us informed of who and when they will be at your house so there is no overlap or interuption of services.

Do you need your plants watered? Mail brought inside? Trash cans taken to the curb? We offer many FREE services when scheduling overnight petsitting. Make sure to mention what extra help is needed so we can make sure it gets done!
